the mountain dew would work fine since coolant is just water and glycol and mountain dew is mostly water . plus water alone is actually more effective as a coolent since it has a high thermal capacity the glycol is just to keep it from freezing in the winter. the system is also pressurized so the carbonation would not affect anything plus it wont boil or cause the sugar to thicken since the pressure causes the boiling point to rise so the water will not boil leaving a sugar goo.

Next time you go to start it you will bend a rod because it will be hydrolocked (moutaindew-locked) since you have a blown head gasket

So weird how when people talk about eBay they talk like it's some big China company that just sells garbage. It's actually just an online selling platform that anybody can use. Name-brand companies even sell on eBay. You could even buy a name brand radiator from your best friend down the street that sells on eBay. Don't diss on eBay it changes big-time from seller to seller. Some sellers are bad some sellers are good that's why you have to do research on the seller before making a purchase. Take me for instance. I'm just an average 35 year old dude that lives in Oregon and cell used RC stuff and vintage collectible toys on eBay. I try to avoid low quality products and I always provide the best service I can to my customers. remember eBay is not a company. EBay is a collaboration of people selling stuff personally. There's a lot of dropshippers flooding eBay now but there's still plenty of people that actually have their items on hand.... And they are just average people

I bet some of it was getting into the cylinder s through the head gasket. and thanks to Project Farm. we know what soda does to an engine I wouldn't be surprised if that had something to do with power loss. (I know it was slow and broken already)

Sounds like a head gasket because the coolant should not effect power and not make it smoke unless it was overheating but why get a trailer get some new hose and water and drive it back

I mean with the extreme expense of Mountain Dew being around 2$ a 2 liter one could imagine the high production costs required to make this video. Isn't PURE Coolant as bad idea? For Winter anyways. Cause adding water to coolant has a lower freezing point. I watched a science show on this and they explained it well. But is it less corrosive with pure coolant?

the dew should clean the cooling system out. drain it out and flush waster thru it a few times. and add new coolant after fixing the hose or what not. but the engine didn't sound that good to began with. it had a miss. It also looks like someone put money into that car at one time.
