Mountain Fairy Moments in the American Alps | A Slow Goodbye to the North Cascades

Join me for some sweet, slow days in the mountains of Washington, hiking, swimming, and camping in the North Cascades National Park region - from amazing blue alpine lakes to sunset hikes to secluded campsite swimming holes to a wildflower filled mountain summit hike. These are some unexpected adventures, mountain view campsites and other secret spots I've found as I travel out of the park, on my way to the next wilderness area. As always, we will learn about nature and her endless wisdom along the road and trails, from native plant / wildflowers identification to the geology that shapes the mountain peaks, scenic vistas, and lake swim spots.

As always. I truly appreciate the effort it takes for you to bring us along on your adventures. I have spent my lifetime adventuring many of the same or similar views. Back in 1987 I purchased a full size VHS camcorder to record my adventures for others but I found it too cumbersome to set up, begin recording and then edit the contents for others to see and instead just relied on my memory. Of course, digital video or even cell phones weren't a thing yet. Now that I'm older and I try to recall those vistas, views and feelings, I find that my memory, that was so faithful and true in my youth, has betrayed me. Your videos trigger memories I thought long gone. It turns out, I do still have memories but my conscious mind doesn't think to recall them. As I watch your videos, emotions well up from deep within as I recall hiking and backpacking 30 plus years ago. I thank you again for all your efforts and I beg you not to stop sharing your passion with us. Love you!
