When I was a student my instructor coordinated with SLC to do touch-n-go's from about 11 PM to 1 AM. The controllers were more than happy to have someone to talk to at midnight, even a student pilot. It was good to get some bravo experience when there wasn't a lot of other traffic and stress to deal with.

I found your channel a week ago and I’ve BingeWatch sense. You do an excellent job and I really enjoy the way your videos show. Appreciate the way you explain all the steps and the process. I’m impressed with the air traffic control and the way things are done up in the air. I’ve only flown once in my life and it was a 1986. Looking out the window, I saw a jet dart by in the opposite direction looking like it was 500 feet away! Scared the daylights out of me. Glad to learn, through your video, a 1000 foot separation is the standard and now I look forward to flying again sometime in the future. Your approach to Salt Lake City was amazing as was your fly over of the Grand Canyon. Also, thanks for your service and I’m sure flying the F-16 must’ve been amazing!
