Mountain House Biscuits and Gravy review

The biscuits are supposed to be like that in both of the meals you mentioned! They are supposed to be soft on the outside yet a bit crunchy in the middle. Great video. The high sodium is due to the high exertion most people experience while being outdoors so this is to replace what you lose in sweat but I agree it could be lower

Bagged meals like this are way more convenient when using a long handle spoon. Seriously, there are spoons made just for this. They are longer and have a bend near the spoon end to make scooping easier. No more messy handle and knuckles.

Be sure and try Oats Blueberries and Powdered milk. And yes, I've tried the Neapolitan Ice cream sandwich and it was awesome too.

I love this stuff but I would cook it up temp with cold water. It'll be done by the time it's boils. Otherwise the boiling water cools to fast in the pouch and doesn't fully cook it.

I really don't understand all these youtubers with 'bushcraft' in their channel names who rely so heavily on this convenience/junk food. I mean, come on what has boiling some water and pouring it into a pouch got to do with bushcraft?

I'm more partial to the breakfast skillet meals. But biscuits and gravy are not something I grew up with.

I just tried the Mountain House biscuits and gravy the flavor was there but the sausage was just like rubber, followed the directions to the T . I don't think i will purchase again just my opinion, i love biscuits & gravy.
