Chili Mac and Beef is so good!!!! I was really skeptical of it during before my 3 day hike, but the sales person at the store reccomended it. It was so delicious that I licked the top of the bag after eating the whole thing! Thinking about getting a bag just to eat at the house!

@purity4all - Not yet. I can get this stuff pretty cheap at Wally World. The other brands are more expensive.

@jherrera14 Yes, one hungry person could eat the whole thing. It could be enough for two, but you'd probably need some chips or something else to go with it. It really is good tasting. Thanks for the comment.

Just had one of these a few days ago. Chili Mac with Beef is a winner. I will be going back to Wally World to buy some more of these to put back along with some other Mountain House.

That's my favorite from mountain house. chilli mac w/beef. the second best is lasagne w/meat sauce. your looks watery though, looks like a little extra sauce to go around!!!!!!

I have to say the great outdoors does not quite the same when the convertible vehicle is in the background.. The idea of roughing it some how looses its image..

@tooldudetony Yeah, they can be pricey. If you want to try another brand for free I can tell you where to go to get 12 free meals.

I would be eating a lot better than that on the trail let alone in a car campground.No offense. To those who enjoy that stuff I am sure you are providing a service but I would have to be in a survival situation to eat that 'food'.
