Mountain House vs. Peak ReFuel Biscuit and Gravy Review.
Watch in awe as I risk coronary and kidney failure trying two salty, yet delicious breakfast meals.
Forgot my video camera, so I made this using a Moto G Power cell phone. Notice any difference? I think the audio isn't as good, and it really doesn't have the depth of field of my regular camera.

The MH biscuits and gravy is the best MH along with the lasagna. My favs. The extra sausage in the peak definitely looks enticing. Great review and "you damn deer stay off my lawn!"

If that deer gets into my apricot tree....my next video may be venison jerky. If you like the MH B&G, then you would really like the Peak. Those big biscuits are amazing.

If you see it, try it out. The deer were making free with my foliage. As long as they leave the flowers and my apricot tree alone, we will be alright.

The Peak had 1780mg of sodium compared to MH having 1730mg. Not sure why 1780mg seemed ok in the video but 1730mg got a reaction. How does Peak have less sodium lol

Peaked looked way better and full biscuits is a nice touch. Peak refuel does surprise me on some menus and some they miss. I thought Moto G power cell phone was fine did not see any noticeable differences. Nice Review!

Date on the MH was 2052 and the Peak has about a 4yr shelf life.

Good morning. Have you ever cold soaked a MH meal and then heated the meal later?

The closest is filling it with cold water and putting it in a 12v lunch box to warm up. Worked good. I have also eaten them cold the next day too.

They both are really good but yeah peak are better on most all their meals. I stock up mostly on M.H because they are cheaper and still really good. I will say they both beat readywise by a long shot. Sure they would be OK with plenty of added seasoning but as is they are so bland

I am not saying you are wrong, but you are paying for convenience and long term un-refrigerated storage. Purchasing these meals is a specific use case situation, not for everyday eating.

peak is smaller and more expensiive.. mt house is always good.. simple choice MH-$9-$12.... Peak-$15-$18... MH all the way

Mountain House 4.4 oz./ 22g protein Peak is 6.7 ounces/ 34g protein and tastes better. Peak isn't smaller, but it does cost more. This is just a taste test based on what I like. If you prefer MH, then by all means get what you like.
