I used to train horses. Never had one train this easy. Took a lot more than 24 hours.

I think the horse had been worked with a lot prior to taping, the creek scene made it obvious.

@@monkeyman2174 lmao, I really hope professional writers could come up with something more creative than training a horse quick lol.

@@monkeyman2174 They're all scripted but they really couldn't do too much with the lone "mountain" man - except for Eustace. Eustace is brilliant and they were making him look like a buffoon. I mean you really think Eustace would run his truck with wood and have his vehicle- his most important asset for his work - roll down a hill, crash and burn? But he got paid to look like a buffoon. Sometimes you can see it in the back of Eustaces' eyes. This series is the most authentic of them all, imo. The Appalachian Wars or the ginseng Wars is like a bad Charlie Chan movie. It's stupid to the point of hilarity. The History Channel admitted they make fake history. They made up history in the Viking series. At least they came clean with it but for what we knew or thought the History Channel to be, that's more than forked up. This episode looks like the beginning as Morgan has his house built and his wife isn't with him. And this is the beginning with Eustace, too. I know they overlap episodes.

@Just another Mexican The horses have been with Morgan for awhile. He didn't just get them. This episode looks like the beginning and it's season 9? Morgan has his house built, so I don't know what they're doing. I cannot believe the skills and knowledge Morgan has acquired as a young man. He blows me away. His wife isn't even in the series yet. Morgan walks over 200 miles over a mountain in a white out. The guy is amazing! They overlap parts of episodes. One guy tells them, get outta my way, I can't sit and talk to you guys, now 👍😂

Obviously bogus, might be cold backed, but handled a lot and probably ridden a good bit. Colts don't normally just walk down into a creek like this one did.

Firstly: Why are you going to be using a 3 year old colt as a pack horse...? That in itself makes no sense. Secondly: It’s very clear to anyone who works with horses that this “Unbroken Colt” has had months of work put into him... So why lie?

What are you guys doing with this episode? It looks like the beginnings of the series because Morgan has his house built, Eustace is not a buffoon and then there's Tom and Rick. When does Kyle come in? Ok so we know episodes overlap ...

Shockingly fake like many of these episodes, that horse was already fully trained before this show was ever made. This is the same guy that it took two guys to make a primitive weapon or a poorly made canoe and try to pass it off as authentic.
