Thanks for the mentions! You are correct Sir, the Muskrat was THE first knife I ever purchased with my own $. Had to go to the big city to get it. I was 14 and the clerk gladly took my paperboy money. Carried it everyday into my 20's. Cleaned more trout with that knife than I can recall, a few salmon as well. I can say for certain it can handle field dressing a deer, small game and fowl too. Did a good bit of whittling with it, but never a Dude. I'm going to remedy that. Thanks for the inspiration. @ My first knife was a Case Barlow when I was 7 in 1978. The first knife I bought with money I earned was a hollow handle survival knife in 83 or 84.
