Sorry. I to re-upload this video as a person in the video wanted me to censor what they said. For those asking about Shan State travel - I experienced 0 issues in the 5 weeks I enjoyed here and made a bunch of content. I know what is going on where and locals also keep me updated. Also reputable agents and guides will of course not be going where conflict is!. I also found conflict areas you can't get into even if you wanted to as the areas are blocked off. However, it is Myanmar and the situation changes constantly. So I can not tell you what to do. This is MY life and my viewpoint. I continue to love living and working and travelling here and will continue to do so. Thanks to Myanmar Shalom and the incredible guides and friends I made along the way and the many more to come! myanmarshalom.com/

That's how I enjoyed my life 5 years ago before the terrible things happened (covid, war) in our country. Trekking all the way from Pindaya to Kalaw, sleeping at the local home, dancing with them, watching sunset and sunrise from Myin-mu hill. Such a beautiful and peaceful people.

That's exactly what I did this July holidays with my Burmese friends here. As I mentioned in previous videos, domestic tourism is up according to the tour operators. Just not international and rainy season only people like me travel ha ha but as you see there was no rain in July until the last week ;-)

@@LizafromWhere I've been to Kalaw in almost all season and trust me, there's nothing I could hate about this place. Hopefully, the conditions become stable and CBT is blooming again in Myanmar.

@@dr.lovevenom62I had a wonderful time and as I said in my pinned comment 0 issues. But I respect and agree with much of what you mentioned. I can’t tell people to come as the situation changes constantly. And it impacts the people 😢. As to peaceful people? Maybe some tribes more peaceful than others and there are many long histories of fighting here

Yes it really killed this video. The click through rate and watch time are down so the video basically died as it impacted the Algorithm. Oh well I still chose to do the right thing to make someone happy even if they don't understand what the impacts are to a KZbin channel.

awww that's so kind of you. I have a lot more content to drop on Shan State. Now I am making a video about safety in Myanmar that will drop this weekend. Then after that I will drop more content on Shan State. Also my editing should improve this year as my friend is Niki Proshin a big famous KZbinr who helped me to improve my mistakes. He will also drop a very important video on Myanmar next week. So I hope to get better and be able to help Myanmar more and more.

I have been watching your videos recently and they bring me back to my childhood memories. They also help my homesickness so thank you for the beautiful content. 🤍 You mentioned you're from the Europe but I'm wondering whether you used to live in Australia too? I can hear a bit of Aussie accent in you. Hello from Melbourne Australia 🦘!
