I’m not a new country or alt rock aficionado per se but I’ll say this. Wilco is that rare combo that transcends everything to produce some of the greatest music ever. They are lightening in a bottle. I love them.

Absolutely. I hadn't paid much attention to Jason Isbell before, but I will now. Only better Nels guitar duel I've seen was with Richard Thompson on "Impossible Germany" on the Americanarama tour. That was truly epic.

this was a song me and someone special shared. For a brief moment we were so happy and then it somehow slipped away for him. I have never heard this version before. He lived Wilco and I love Jason Isbell. So its pretty insane that this popped up in my feed. I love you Ryan. Maybe someday this weird world will bring us back together.

Said goodbye to my daughter in 2016- she was moving to LA and put I together a playlist for her of every song I could find ( from 1960’s- present) having to do with LA/Cali. Discovered this and it’s one of my very favorites. Keep in mind I grew up listening to Led Zeppelin.........
