I have started the IOEC method especially when the engine is assembled I still dont get the argument that bringing the cylinder to TDC both valves are closed set the lash. Most of my work has been on diesels and this how we did it if you could see the cam/lifters to make sure everything is at TDC valves closed I feel you can be more accurate this way . I understand that with cam overlap and not being able to witness cam/lifter you need to watch the rocker. However it doesn't seem very accurate that your watching the rockers open and close and pick bathe spot to adjust On a competition engine i would think it would be advantageous to mark the balancer at each exact opening evenly so you could turn it over to that spot every time Sorry for such a long comment maybe there is a video idea where we could run all known methods to see the difference in real time Great video!

Hey buddy could you answer a turbo 400 question for me please? I’m not familiar with the ATI 403200 that came into my shop yesterday. I’ve used several TCI full man.rev. But it’s a deal where the builder before me had it 3 times. Long story but do ATI not block the gov feed ports in the back of vb and should a complete valve and bore plug be missing? Any help is appreciated thank you and also great videos I’m a huge fan and you’ve taught me alot
