We laugh with them, cry with them, love with them. We see every mistake they make and share every triumph with them. We KNOW the fictional characters more than we care to know real people. In fact the exact words are “we could,” talking about the possibility of leaving behind all that they know. Like two ambitious lovers, the mountains plan to elope before anyone will be able to see their departure. However, we (the listeners) know that mountains cannot move. To run away from Arcadia. They almost did it. They were pretty close. And to think, that if they really managed to escape, then Rachel would be still alive. My ex girlfriend played this game, when she left i picked the game and played, and boy im so crushed. My ex left because after divorce my sister went into a huge suicidal depression, in order for my nephew to stay away from the abusive father i took him, but there always huge problems in the court, we spent a huge fortune, and the fucking father always made our life hell, my sister tried to kille herself twice, and at some point my ex which also had deprrssion because she lost her mother at age 16 said she couldnt continue with me because all my problems were making her depression worst. Despite we both loving each other very much i had to make a huge decision, abandom my family or say goodbye to the love of my life, i choosed family and she left and its now togheter with someone else, and common friends say she seems happy and im happy for her. The funny thing is 2 years passed and my nephew started to ajoy more and more his father company as the father corrupts him with money toys and so on, so my personal sacrifice was for nothing, hella unfair right? This was my personal choice, my arcadia bay vs chloe, thats why this game affext me so much and i have a special bond to these characters. Sorry for the huge text, but i dont have oportunity to get it outh, especially talking about how a game and my life problems are so connected luke this, people just dont understand.

Chloe might not hqve wanted to be saved. I think even though she didn't want to admit it she knew on some level that Rachel died when she went missing. She survived more or less fine her whole life but ended up dying so many times in just one week during LiS. I think she wanted to die and be with Rachel (and her dad). That was the real reason she kept dying and Max kept saving her but truthfully there was no saving her. Still each to their own. After Arcadia Bay is gone Chloe sees the very lowest point of her life, fihurative end of it. Things can only get better for her after. Max even said she's her number 1 priority now. They will be ok because they have eachother. Hopefully.
