Lets head up to over 6,600' and grill out at the top of Mount Mitchell! There is no better place to enjoy a cookout than at the highest point east of the Mississippi River. I get out the charcoal and grill out in front of this picturesque location to enjoy a balmy day in the Western North Carolina mountains.
Mt. Mitchell State Park is located less than 1 hour from Asheville, North Carolina a few miles off the Blue Ridge Parkway:

I just love the smell of food cooking on a grill. You couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day for a cookout with family❤️ I bet the burgers and hot dogs were delish😋 Great video👍🏼 Thanks for sharing!!!

Looks like even the dog got to enjoy this outing. What a beautiful place for a picnic. Yea ,the shelter seems to be the perfect spot and away from the bees. It takes a little more effort to grill but it is so worth it. I know everyone around had to be wishing they were invited to eat. The Yeti was a nice gift. I think the dog was saying enough already, I want off the leash, lol.

Great job nothing like a cookout and beautiful scenery. I seldom catch your livestreams but I do watch replays. Doesn't look like anyteam wants to win the AFC North. My Bengals continue to blow chance after chance. But it is rare for me that they are even in contention. Going to seem different without Big Ben next season.

Great video MMM! What a very nice area for a picnic. A lot of really great spots with amazing views. I always try to get the Kingsford too. The generic just isn't as good to cook with as far as burning and keeping the heat. I have a chimney starter which works great but hard to dump the charcoal in a lot of the park grills. Luckily I just had a nice meal before watching.

Best part of Mt. Mitchell is if it's 95 here at the house you can go up there and it's 65.
