I don't remember the crabs from the Mountaintops being able to induce Sleep (IIRC, only the ones hidden in Raya Lucaria could do that). The same goes for the Vulgar Militia with Bestial incantations, only the ones guarding Gurranq did so.

Vulgar Militia in the Forbidden Lands and in the Hidden Path to the Haligtree have destined death and can use bestial incantations. They are the same version that can be found in Bestial Sanctum. It makes a lot of sense if you think about how the other Black Blade Kindred is in the Forbidden Lands. All white (albinauric) crabs can induce sleep. The ones that are corrupted by Godwyn can induce deathblight, the rest(brown, black) only damages with their spit.

@@brandonpassannante2426 Some people consider the Consecrated Snowfield a subregion of Mountaintops of the Giants just like how some people consider Mt. Gelmir a subregion of Altus Plateau despite both regions having their own day/night ambiance and combat music.
