Hello, travellers, I appreciate your concern for the girl. My main intention to show this girl in my video was to show that there are Indian girls who dare to travel solo, that too in the remote areas like Spiti. She is an inspiration for me and for many of us. I could have learnt a lot from her by joining her, but you know ... travelling solo is altogether a different experience. You have to do it to experience the feeling of being solo while travelling. She hired a car from Kaza to reach a certain point and she had just begun to hike. (There is a big difference between Hitchhiking and Hiking. Please do check). She wanted to travel like this and being a solo traveller, I understand and respect her decision. Also, this is an edited video. So there are many things which happen but do not become the part of the videos. Same happened with the long conversation with her. Vo ladki aaram se chal rahi thi baad mein, usko tab pani chahiye tha bas... hikers kabhi lift nahi lete... kanwariya jate hain jab paidal, vo bhi kabhi lift nahi lete... Ek baar agar soch liya paidal jane ka, to koi nahi rok sakta. Vo ladki agar pani maang sakti hai, ( jabki dusre se pani lene mein zyada tension hoti hai) ... to vo ladki lift bhi maang sakti thi... but, point ye hai ki usse lift chahiye hi nahi thi!

people don't understand, if someone is determined enough to hike, he/she will never ask for a ride. their passion will always help them to gather energy when they get tired. the girl wasn't tired, u can see she's walking with much spirit later, it was just at that time when she was feeling thirsty and asked for water. nowadays people jump to conclusions without thinking. kudos to you Varun and that girl too.

LANGZA to Hikkim village is a lovely 2-3 hrs trek, those who enjoy trekking or do not know how to ride a bike in the mountains can take this path...trekking this path gives you more time to enjoy the natural beauty of the place
