Benedictine monastic life at Mount Angel is centered around a balanced rhythm of prayer and work (𝘰𝘳𝘢 𝘦𝘵 𝘭𝘢𝘣𝘰𝘳𝘢) according to the Holy Rule of St. Benedict. The daily chanting of the Divine Office and the celebration of the Eucharist are the source from which flows the individual work and prayer of the monk as well as the summit to which they return.
