Easily done as i watck, but i wonder how many bead tears he has at the vise grips and where the crane pushes the bead over the rim? Forestry tires can be tough, and using the crane to help is a great idea, but when you tear a bead even slightly, air will migrate into the casing and cause a bubble .(air migration separation. Hope he put "Tire Life" in that tire!)

How much do these tyres cost per unit.?

I run Firestone Forestry Special which are far superior to Nokian tires unless you like having them vulcanized. And that size will run you bout 4200.00 each for 26 ply.

@@timberslasher4899 thanks for that. very interesting. I was told primex log stompers were really good.

@chrisfleming5109 primex has a better line but the log stompers are absolute bargain basement junk. There is a cheaper brand called Samson if you can still get them that are pretty decent tires all around. Firestone is unbeatable in my opinion and I run up to L series Deere skidders that weights run up toward 50k pounds, run cable and grapple. Cable skidders are bad to dismount a tire without actually damaging it with a bad operator cause of pulling so hard sideways. I also highly recommend spending extra on tubes. They will not break loose at the bead near as bad. Just don't run them low cause the valve stems attach to the rim and it will rip loose. The set of brand new Nokians I ran a few years ago on a 180 Franklin cable skidder had decent tread life but they snagged really easy. And they were 22 ply. Have better luck with 16 ply Firestone than 22 ply Nokian , Log Stompers melt like Ice on a July 15th blacktop highway. That being said I have no experience with the high end Primex... some people swear by them.

@@chrisfleming5109 Should work good for extra traction but nothing beats multi ring chains! Trygg brand seem to be best in chains. When I was younger and dumber a guy gave me a free tire. Mounted it and it ran 1 day. Turns out it was a combine tire, wasn't cut out for forestry abuse..lol

And if you tear a bead, putting a tube in it will only prolong the problem. The tear will eventually cut a hole in the tube from flexing. "Tire Life" is the only possible way to get the ripped bead tire to run out its full life. Tubes a flat waiting to happen!!!

I would never put my fingers between a rim and a tire bead. Spray soapy water to find a leak when you don’t clean the rim or rip the bead.

You are fired! Are you really showing bad you can rip a bead and still go tubeless? Damn thing may not air up. Ever heard of a tire bar or portapower?

Let’s see you change one with just a tire bar. I’ll wait

Thanks for this video, with the bars it is very hard to dismount and mount I have taken up to 3 hours in a single tire,,but with your idea, I have already mount tires, and I have never damaged it, your idea is good and be very careful, mount without damaging the bead, thanks

He hasn't punished that bead nothing like that kitty cat will. You clearly have no idea what he is dealing with. One of those off the rim will squash you like a bug...
