I like this idea, but the ergonomics of this on my s5ii cineback just don’t make sense. It’s already hard enough to adjust camera settings with my cables going through the right side. I think this quick release system would actually work really well for a large camera like the Pyxis

the cineback middle is made of plastic. how much weight do you want to put on it.

if you notice it's attached to the top plate which is attached to the camera cage. The cineback isn't taking the weight.

Yes. You can just buy small 15mm rods, a 2pack rod clamp, and any cheese plate.
