This was interesting and one of the only videos that explains this process. I have a felt sports banner about 18"x 24" that I am told will need to be sewn to the matting board. And I am thinking that this is something I could do myself. You do great work. Thanks from Rochester, New York.

hello I'm from Brazil, nice work you do, I have a question about fungi, bacteria or mold, can this happen on shirts??

Hi, instead of cutting the form down the center, could you not have turned the shirt inside out, placed the shirt and form neck to neck, and kind of rolled it on?

Hi Dianne, Most of the sports shirts nowadays are so tight-fitting that it is hard to pull over an insert. If you can do it in one flat piece, it is also fine. In some cases, they are mounted without an insert, depending on the desired overall appearance.

Can you not just pin the shirt straight to the backing foam board rather than matboard and then sticking the matboard to the foam?
@Endurart2 жыл бұрын
You can just pin the jersey directly to the backing but most of the modern shirts are a lycra type blend that looks better with a filler board cut to the shape.
