Mounting the snow plow on the cub

We change our mid mount grader blade into a front blade for snow. All the parts are built and we are ready for winter.

I have a mid mount grader blade and would like to convert it to a front mount snow blade. I will have to make the parts. Could you make a video showing the length and hole placement of the lift arms/rods and the support brackets that go to the bell housing? thanks, Brad from Iowa

I'm going here soon to pick up that style blade for my cub. How do you like it? I'm worried about the rods bending or soemthing.

It works good for why I use it for. I did a few upgrades to it and added shoes to it and I use a chain in place of the rod between the lift and blade so it can “float”. I don’t need down pressure for plowing snow with it. I do have a few more upgrades I want to do to it to make it easier to change the direction of the blade.

@@BearCat459 I have not used it as a grader blade. Only for plowing snow so far.

why did you choose to move the blade from mid mount to front mount?

It is made to be used either way but when I bought it a few of the front mount pieces were missing. It works better for pushing snow as a front mount vs mid mount and that’s why I bought it.
