1:56 Technically if you don't kill any bosses and farm the trash in the starting area you can reset the raid and farm the trash to get the mounts there

Trash in Raids does not respawn via manual reset. They have strict respawn timers. And AQ40 trash before first boss is such a few mobs that you would waste more time waiting for it to respawn, than to flatten whole raid every week until you get all you need.

The Onyxian Drake was not reintroduced via WOTLK. It was introduced during WOTLK as a new mount drop during that expansion. Vanilla WoW only had one dungeon mount drop for the longest time, which was Stratholme Dead side’s Baron Rivendare’s Charger. Then when Zul Gurub came out in vanilla WoW it introduced the first two raid drop mounts that are no longer in game. The original Raptor mount and the original Tiger mount (one of the coolest mounts up to this day due to its unique appearance), these were removed either when the Cataclysm Expansion was released or later on in the same expansion when the patch was released that includes the new Zul Gurub and the new raid Zul Aman with the original Bear timed mount, that is no longer in game (the one you can get now is a replacement with washed out colours from the original Bear mount, also the new Zul Gurub mounts are a recolour of the Raptor mount and a different cat species for the other mount called the Zulian Panther mount, which was funny during Zul Gurub back in the day when the guild I was in was convinced that there was a third mount that could drop from ZG and it was the Panther, a lot of people thought that back then…), with that all said, to recap the two new and only raid drop mounts of Vanilla WoW were the two original ZG ones. The last mount and titled that came with it that you could get before the opening of the gates of AQ was the only ever legendary (orange lettered mount) mount to be released in game. The only way you could get it back in the day was to be in one of the top performing guilds on your server at the time and have one player or usually it was a bunch start and work away at the long quest-line to make the mallet that could be used on the Gong outside of the gates of AQ. Once you had completed the huge quest-line and got yourself the mallet and rang the gong you got the legendary black bug mount and the “Scarab Lord”, title, please correct me if ai am wrong but I am pretty sure that was the first and only PVE title available in game throughout the rest of Vanilla WoW. The item that gave you the Black Qiraji Battle Tank mount is called the “Black Qiraji Resonating Crystal”. That concludes all of the mounts you could get from dungeons and raids back during Vanilla WoW. Please feel free to correct me if I am wrong in anyway above, or please let me know if I missed anything above as well. Cheers! P.S. I have large hands to the point where I can almost use a iPad like a smart phone but just shy of my hands being large enough. So I buy the largest iPhone models to make up for this issue because the size being too small makes my hands hurt over time when texting a lot, first my hands hurt really badly and then they start to go numb, it sucks. I have gotten to that point after writing everything above. So I apologize for any spelling or grammatical errors above and also for the fact that I will not be going back to proofread this message and try to correct any of the mistakes that I may have made, which I am sure there are many due to the whole large hands issue and also the fact I have sausage fingers as well… So I hope what I have written above is understandable enough so the general gist of what I was trying to say gets through. I was simply trying to point out that the comment made about the Onyxian drake mount being a reintroduction mount was completely wrong, and then I got into listing off all the actual dungeon and raid mounts from back then, I was in the guild Death and Taxes which I am pretty sure is known for doing some pretty impossible feats back then, especially our first full clear of Naxx 40. So I’d like to think I know a lot about Vanilla WoW since I played it so much back then at such a high level. But I am human and I could have forgotten somethings from back then since it has been so long ago. Well that’s my two cents. Cheers!

I’ve been farming invincible since cata came out, a total of about 7 years of dedicated weekly farming on 1-3 chars. As of this date, still farming. I almost feel like I will loose my purpose in life once I actually get him lol. I have also been wanting to get all the achievements for all of the raids and dungeons in the game and I am a big Mount collector so this video is great. Been farming mounts for years with breaks here and there, I have more than 500 mounts. Decided to do some mount farming these last few weeks of SL before DF hits. Got the sha of anger mount and ji-kun mount last week, on wednesday I got oondasta's mount and today I got both midnight and the fiery warhorse mount. I don't know where my sudden luck came from... Currently I'm working on elegon, invincible and 2 of the dragon soul ones.

One correction the abyss worm does drop off LFR difficulty. I think abyss worm was the first mount that dropped from LFR and every mount since (non-mythic) has been available in LFR also

@@vraxialidv9362 Glad you like the vid and channel! So yes Blizz made a change in the WoD pre patch where every raid from Siege of Orgrimmar onwards has 4 difficulties (LFR, Norm, Heroic, Mythic) where u can complete EACH difficulty once per week. All raids before are mostly the same

I left in 2012 or 2013 and I was going for the 150 mount achievement, I had 140 mounts and 14 baby raptor claws for the Raptor mount. Splashing 18k gold for that big mammoth was very tough for me , also the bike. I farmed the Zul Gurub mounts for months with a friend, I really wanted that tiger, raptor not so much. I was content with my archeology skeleton raptor. I came back after 10 years or so now and people have hundreds.

For the boss’s despawning, can’t you just swap to a tank spec for those fights if you have one? Swapping to blood dk worked for some of the other raids for me, since tanks don’t get mind controlled Or is it another mechanic

@@Rustycobra It's harder now because with the level squish they set guards max level at 40th rather then 120 like it used to be. You barely needed to do anything because guards used to one shot all the invaders. I used to only worry about spies and grunts being caught in the open and got platinum every time.

Huolon actually doesn't have a lockout so you can farm him as many times per day/week as you want!

You'll have to unlock Argus which u get the quest for after unlocking the broken shore. Both of the quests start at Khadgar in Dalaran. I personally think they should just give ppl the port at this point but the quests arent to long.

it took me 4 years after icc wasn't current to get that horse .then i got into it with blizzard over it thats farming it every week on 2 toons for over 4 years.they sent a rabbits foot to my mail box a year later the other rabbits foot.and one week i got a wild hair and went into it cause i was flying across northrend.and it dropped that morning so 5 years and now i don't even use it anymore it gets on my damn nerves and this is when we had tech support.also the scorpion has a variant thats is bought from the rifts from dragon flight.i got that one not much different.
