"Should you grind for it? probably not" only applies to pvp. In pve, this is a Strand Enhanced One-Two Punch shotgun, meaning that while monochromatic maestro is on the artifact, it can give strand titans even more melee damage than other one two punch shotguns, in addition to all of the other strand synergies it has. Well worth crafting for PVE because of that (for those wondering why strand titan synergy is so good... banner of war x2 [yes it stacks, you can get the damage buff from both yourself and 1 ally] + synthos + one two punch is *slightly* ridiculous, being able to melt any raid boss or dungeon you can get in melee range of [some even when they don't have adds nearby to make synthos triple your damage and the melee lunge means even the harpy bosses aren't safe as they flee in terror]. 10% extra strand ability damage from dealing damage with the one two punch shotty you have to use anyway [and less important but still worth mentioning, 10% extra shotgun damage after landing a strand ability to compensate for not being a kinetic weapon] makes it even crazier)

You'd think that, for a build that only requires strand (something which nearly all players in altars of summoning have access to), a year 1 exotic that i'm fairly sure you can get through a quest now and a half decent roll on 1 of many shotguns, that people would just run this build everywhere and nuke everything, make their lives so much easier. But then you play altars with randoms at all, watch as all of 1 titan i've seen randomly use this build out of the at least 75-100 i've matched with, having reset my rank twice by now, watch as they all dunk powerfuls and do absolutely *nothing* and would certainly fail if i wasn't killing the bosses in, quite literally, 6 melee hits. So you know, maybe for *you* this isn't groundbreaking info, but for a lot of people, knowing this build exists could certainly help them in demolishing what were hard pve encounters in no time flat, and if my comment can be the door for just 1 person to realise the potential of this build, stating it would be worth it. For anyone else reading in, swap synthos for strongholds and put on lament instead of tractor and suddenly you have the single strongest titan build for gms, you're welcome

I need to try it more vs wastelander, but from what I played with it, I liked it a lot. The model is super cool to me, synergizes with strand hunter well, origin perk is somewhat niche but seems like it could be good for cleanups on sprees, and bonus of being craftable. Def would have preferred it to be a precision frame tho since fractethyst is only in dares now.

SBMM in some video games is one of the most cancerous mechanics I’ve ever seen. You know, revisiting this video, I'm now a sunshot/swordbreaker main on arc hunter and it's probably one of if not the best shotgun we have access to. I consistently duel conditional finality, and if you aim for the head it's like farming hatemail in stardew valley. The thing is basically a strand slug with perfect stats that you get to use in the air for free. 1 headshot from a handcannon = bodyshot chaperone Edit: and you get a movement bonus. The LW pellet buffs a couple seasons back really made this thing strong and people actually sleep on it.

I like how you can build into the origin trait on this with the perks, not the best for pvp, but it IS very fun. On swordbreaker you can craft it with enhanced SS and OS and it has 100 range with those 2 alone and then you add barely shroud and a handling MW and it will have 91 handling with max range which also allows you to use assault mag for when you need to follow up or shoot multiple people a little faster

Lightweights - have excellent handling and to compensate, only does 18.33 per pellet (12 total). Aggressives - have bad handling but does 22.25 per pellet (12 total). Conditional Finality - 95 handling, 22.25 damage per pellet AND gas AoE and anti-super capabilities. 👍

If you ask me, I think they should either combine Lightweight and Precision shotties or remove Precision completely. In either scenario, keeping the current lightweight spread. That would balance the one-shot range and handling aspects of both. Aggressive would have more range and lightweight would have higher handling. Not to mention, a precision frame pellet shotgun doesn't really make sense lol

I've been waiting on necrochasm to come back for years now as its my favorite gun from D1. It has come back but I'm a lineman and wouldn't you know it, I get called to Florida last monday to help turn the lights back on and miss the guaranteed drop. I'm happy to help though but I love that they did the drop that way because RNG raid exotics can take dozens of completions to get and some never do.
