Mourinho literally won the league, Europa League, and Champions League with Porto Ended the invincible team's dominance in the midst of Ferguson's United and European champions Liverpool. Twice on the spin. He got 95 points, 15 goals conceded, 72 scored, only 1 loss in his FIRST season. The very same ‘invincible’ team was trying to retain their title. He made the 433 more popular in England & both Wenger and Fergie switched from their famous 442’s to a 433 in the following years. Continued to win with Inter, won the only treble in the history of Italian football in his second season, on the way he stopped arguably the best team in history in Pep’s Barcelona. Then went to Real Madrid and stopped Barcelona again, which felt like the impossible job, and wonLa Liga with the most goals scored in a season ever. Not mentioning bringing the prestige back in Europe forReal Madrid. They haven't progressed past the R16 in the last several seasons before he came. He reached 3consecutive CL Semi Finals and in 11-12 narrowly loston pens when Ronaldo, Kaka, and Ramos missed. It wasn't to be. Laid down the foundations for Madrid's dominance in the following years Returned to Chelsea and won the league, then went to United and finished second, and won 3 trophies with a United backline of Young, Jones, Smalling, Darmian/Valencia. We all know the internal problems he faced and it’s clear to everyone now that he wasn’t backed. Reached a final with Spurs that he didn’t play and at Roma he won a European trophy for the first time since 30 years for the club, and reached another Euro final a year later that he lost on pens when the referee decided Roma wouldn’t win that day. LEGEND of the sport. What a character.

@maciejminowski14069 ай бұрын
WOW😳, Mourinho, you can feel he is speaking from his heart about United. You can see he really loves the club. Giving an honest assessment about Ed Woodward, who is obviously was criticized, even by me, is mega as he is telling the truth. Ed Woodward was not a sport director he was a businessman. It‘s great to hear from a coach who was working with Woodward, how it really was. He even remembers the lineup, who won the Europa League, which to compare it to the team from 07/08, it‘s eye opening, how big the difference of quality between the two teams was. Unfortunately he didn‘t get the full support, as in what he wanted and needed to bring united to the TOP again. Talking about chelsea, he tells you similarities from SAF or now Pep Guardiola. These Coaches saw something in random players, other people, media, etc. couldn‘t see. THIS IS WHAT MAKES THEM, SAF, JM, PG, even Carlo Ancelotti, Arsene Wenger and Jürgen Klopp, THE BEST IN THEIR PROFESSION. It‘s amazing how he speaks about the African players ❤ as he saw them as solutions for his needs to win titles. Drogba, Essien, Kalou, Mikel, etc, those guys did everything for theri club(s). I think everyone who wants to become a coach in his life should watch this podcast, all parts obviously😅, but Jose is saying the truth, you have to bring a vision, character, an environment where everyone is friend with eachother, new ideas for individual players, bring believe to the players. It‘s like Antonio Valencia who was playing Midfield on the right and then SAF, decided him to play right back, and it worked, he was sooo good there. But also a good content for future players, as a player you play for the coach and the club, the coach is not plaing for the player and club. The coach is giving the players ideas, tactics, adjustments, which is a CLUB, if you can make that work, you might be successfull. Players need to play for the batch. As Jose is saying, the coach is not the genius, THE PLAYER IS. What a BOMB has Jose dropped in this podcast😳😳😳!!! Can you imagine him as the national coach of england, after he lost his Job at Chelseas 😳??? BUt i like his opinion that he would be borred, which is fair enough as as a coach youu don‘t have to play ever weekend or midweek. Again, good stuff, so much information, bring on PART 3🙌🏽

He talks about wanting to change Man United here and that just wasn’t in the club’s interest.

There’s something about the way he speaks. A low, gravitational composure backed by mountains of experience. When the special one speaks, we all listen

A Happy Ronaldo is all any coach needs Ten Hag couldn't do this simple thing, he rather went in for his head
@gginfuser7157Ай бұрын
You have to take account of the pressure Ten Hag had too. 2 managers sacked in 2 years. He was given a job to win titles which United was not winning even with happy Ronaldo. I think he thought his plan needs to be followed so he forced others to follow him being scared of being sacked too. Sadly Cristiano was still there.

He is the man. He'll always be THE MAN. I was so damn sad when he was sacked at United because the way he creates belief and confidence in all his supporters, its just unreal. You just feel like rallying behind him.
