A pair of Mourning doves (Zenaida macroura) attracted to my bird feeder. Recorded with a Nikon D3300. (Sorry for any shakiness.)

on monday i went to the zoo. i rushes over to the hyenas,lions,leopards,cheetahs, and the zebras. i even saw some elephants and some giraffes and ostriches. and it reminded of your game bc it’s so realistic and i thought about it the whole time

I luv all birds. The most best thing happened to me. I hav pigeons as pets, and we used to let them fly freely and they would always come back by sunset. There was this one time all my pigeons were on top my garage roof, but suddenly a 200 mile max speed predator caught attension on the pigeons. It dived down not at full speed tho, but it tryed to grab one in mid flight but, it missed. The pigeons flew away and the falcon chased it, (by the way this was a peregrine falcon) the pigeons were chased out of sight, with us hoping for them to return. The next day one of the pigeons returned. The other two pigeons did not come back till this day they are gone. Those two pigeons were most likely caught. And we remember those pigeons till this day and beyond.

I have a bird trap (I catch them and then release them) in my back yard and I have learned that each mourning dove has a different pattern of spots on their back. I can recognise some of the birds that come to my yard.

Mourning doves fly through our area around September but we have a lot of ring neck doves aka turtle doves like the ones in ws. Anyways theyre fat and they are kind of an invasive species to mourning doves.
