@TheUtore Glad Video 5 was helpful. Placing the rim on or below the bottom lip muscle line is probably one of the most important structural placement items that I know of. Probably the next most important is flexing the chin, then 2/3 upper, 1/3 lower. So many problems can be fixed and so many more extremes can be accomplished with these fundamental embouchure techniques in place. I hope you will find things getting easier and easier. Thank you! Andrew

@Braeden123698745 The greatest thing about the lips being chapped is the possibility of the lip muscles being dehydrated as well as the skin being dry and chapped. If the lip muscles don't have enough water in them, the physics of the vibrating medium is different than if hydrated. I once made the mistake of taking Sudafed to clear up a sinus infection and it dehydrated my lips to the point I could not play above the staff. The lips are my barometer of how much water I need to drink. Yes.

@TheUtore For the range just below middle C, you will need to gradually angle the the mouthpiece downward to allow the upper lip to protrude further forward than the lower lip. Master this on the mouthpiece first and then work on keeping the bottom lip firm. Send me a picture of your embouchure or SKYPE me and I can help you. andrewmcafee1@mac.com Thank you! Andrew
