Ingredients:
1 Ib fish fillet
1 tbsp lime juice
½ tsp salt
¼ cup onion
½ cup onions
4 cloves
3 cardamom
1 cinnamon stick
6-7 pepper
3 tbsp onion paste
½ tsp garlic paste
½ tsp ginger paste
½ tsp green chili paste
1 tsp coriander
½ tsp salt
3 tbsp plain yogurt
1 tbsp cashew paste
1 tbsp golden raisin paste
1 cup water
3 green chilies
1 tsp ghee
½ tsp garam masala
Instructions:
1. Coat the fish fillet with lime juice and salt
2. Fry fish in pan for 2-3 minutes then remove from heat
3. Fry thinly sliced onions in pan until golden brown and remove from heat
4. Add another batch of thinly sliced onions along with cloves, cardamom, cinnamon stick, pepper, and onion paste
5. Fry until brown
6. Stir in green chili, garlic, and ginger paste
7. Add coriander and salt to taste
8. Mix in plain yogurt and sauté for 8-10 minutes on medium high heat
9. Stir in cashew and golden raisin paste
10. Splash of water
11. Sauté for another 5 minutes on medium high heat
12. Pour water and bring to a simmer
13. Place the fish fillet back into the pan and sprinkle fried onions
14. Finish off with green chilies, ghee, and garam masala
15. Ready to enjoy!
