should have just demolished the stadium years ago so there would be no way to turn back. now it looks so terrible and in disrepair. Many of the struggles for Hawaii is poor planning and overspending. they are projecting a million dollars savings per year to start charging to rescue hikers, but then they are willing to throw away 25 million from this project which is approximately 25 years of rescuing lost and missing hikers. please make it make sense.

Good, it was a bad plan that would have made going to games unaffordable for many. Either build a venue for the community or build housing.

how about give the stadium property to HHL & OHA on the condition that housing for all kanaka with a solar farm over the entire property be built using all the back pay owed to OHA ? all kanaka would have housing and the surplus electricity can be sold to the power grid

Why not build the Stadium on Maui. Have Condo's around the Stadium and put light on top of buildings. It'll create jobs, places for people who lost their homes/a place to stay. Have UH fly to Maui for a short get away. And build a New Stadium. BUT THIS TIME, HIRE SOMEONE WITH EXPERIENCE. Someone who actually built a Stadium. Maui does NOT NEED ANOTHER RAIL PROJECT.

This is a flawed systematic problematic process where we pay many times over for a professional consultation and opinion which is NOT justified nor does it make any sense paying more than one person. It's outrageous enough we pay our politicians who don't even know or have education to know so other than to hire a consultant who hires other consultants. It doesn't make any sense wasting out tax dollars

How about building the stadium and replacing Representative Garrett? The stadium is also used for large concerts, other sporting events (NFL, soccer, etc.) besides UH, and other public events. We would not have gotten the past opportunities for these without a real large venue. Promoters need this to make money due to the high cost of holding these events in Hawaii.

why doesn't somebody send investigators to evaluate exactly what is going on in Lahaina with victims Housing money and exactly what is Gov. Green, Mayor Bissen, Red Coss, and Housing Planners are doing! The Public needs transparency from a 3rd Party who are.Highly Intelligent, Honest, Educated, responsible people to evaluate what is going on with this budget Crisis with Lahaina and Maui Someone needs to step in and fix the corruption. Get an Inquiry if you want you stadium and you want to safeguard Lahaina. They've had 7.months to get the modular villages going! what do they think? People need a fast sensible affordable Fix that less expensive! It is craziness to pay $1,000 a night for each room! That is $30,000 for one family for one month! In a six month Period that is $180,000 Dollars!! That money gains nothing buys nothing and evaporates into Hotel owners hands.! So that money just disappears. Victims money needs to buy something concrete, so they can get a stable Functional home for them and their children! Better get a investigatine group that can guide the ones in charge who needs guidance! or....... a bad crisis will happen,
