You won't find a null object in Fusion but you can make a custom tool that would work in a similar way. #DaVinciResolve -- Follow me -- www.jayaretv.com/ / jayaretv / mrjayaretv / jayaretv

I'm excited to learn nodes. I know it's raved about in Blender and Unreal Engine as well. Thanks for the video, you made some things click right at the beginning.

I learned about keyframes from Flash / Newgrounds days. I've finally started to understand how masks work. In another 10 years I'll have a really solid understanding of a lot of powerful software. Even if no technology changed for a decade, I still have a ton to learn. But what's even more exciting is that the software keeps getting better and developers are learning quality of life improvements from each other. Like the color pallet Davinci and Photoshop and Ableton all use for their UI.

Thanks JayAre! learning a lot from your channel. If I may ask a question: Is there a way to lengthen or shorten a fusion clip so the animations adjust to the new clip duration. Let's say I made a 5 second closing title like this, and then the client needs it to be 8, what's the best way to do this?

Hi Jay. Nice video. Why can't we get fullscreen in Davinci Fusion? In Fusion F4 is the fullscreen shortcut but in Davinci it doesn't work. Is there a shortcut for this?

This video is so helpful!! Thank you so much for this channel! Just wondering: I tried to do this but with rotation instead of movement and the problem I found is I cannot find a way to set an absolute pivot point on the Custom Tool so every object rotates around the same point. What should be the way to do that? Anyone? Thanks!

13:00 - Yeah, I think a wizard of Davinci could whip up some nice effects with the CT thing. Reminds me of what happens when you chain all sorts of different components together in a DAW to get some incredibly unique sound. Linking a bunch of cables together in a Moog. I want to access that complexity!

The expressions remind of of CAD work in Fusion360. This makes a lot of things easier.

Hi Jay. Is there a way to control a line at the start and end point? Example: A line has a beginning at 12,45 (x/y achse) and and an endpoint at 30,67 (x/y). Now you move the endpoint and the line will keep the startpoint, but turning with the change of the endpoint....

Not sure I completely understand the question.

Hi Jay, Sorry for my bad english. I am talking about a polygon. If you place it in fusion you have two ankerpoint (start-/ endpoint). You can drag these points, but my question is if I can control one of these points to move it. Lets assume you have footage of a car that is driving along a road. The startpoint sticks to the review mirror and the endpoint sticks to a rectange that is fixed at the upper right corner. So the car is moving through the screen and the polygon moves with it , but on the end it sticks to the rectangle all the time. Is there a way to do that? How can I control the color of this polygon?
@JayAreTV6 жыл бұрын
I'm still confused. Not sure what you mean by two ankerpoint with a polygon. I would need to see what you mean. Send me a email a via my site.

Do you mean you want one end to track to the car and the other end to stay in one spot and not change with the movement of the car?

I have a question. How can ı Track a video to another video?

Use a tracker on video A > Use the tracking data from video A's tracker for video B position.
