This must have been in the last 2 months of the original run. Dame Maryann Plunkett had taken over full time and Grand Duke Mandy O' Patinkin had returned to basically close the show. Oh, how wonderful they both are in this video. This song was so meaningful to me at a time in my life when I was in a lot of emotional pain. This and "Children and Art" meant a lot to me and my late great Mama. Thanks for this post! Beautiful rarity comes to life!

So privileged to have seen Plunkett and Patinkin. He was playing the show again while simultaneously rehearsing Follies in Concert at Lincoln Center...saw that too. Thank you for posting this wonderful memory.

What moved me was being in the room in the Chicago art museum. A young man asked me to take photos by the Sunday painting. His first date was at the show. He was going to ask her to marry him and wanted photos of the moment. Of course I said YES. She returned and he fell to one knee. The camera had auto advance so they must have had ten pictures. Audrey Hepburn s voice was in my head. Take the picture take the picture

Yes the first act. Bernadette Peters yelling George George. So annoying. We thought we would get nice songs like Follies
