My favorite city too! I grew up in Barnstable 🙂 (went to school with Chase) and moved to Boston after college. While in Boston, I fell in love, lived in Southie/Eastie for three years, and just recently moved to DC - husband is in the military. Not going to lie, moving was the hardest thing I’ve ever done, but it was also the best thing I’ve ever done- you meet so many new people, get out of your comfort zone, become even more independent, create new memories, it’s a new place your friends and family can visit, and you’re still so young that you can easily go back to Boston! Go in with a positive mindset, and it’ll make the transition way easier! Xo

I moved out of Boston two years ago because I just didn't feel like it was home anymore but when I left I realized how much I missed parts of the city and how comfortable I was there. But now it's just fun to visit and I know someday I'll get back there. I hope you are doing well with the move.

The intro of this video gave me the feels. I lived in the same apt for my Junior and Senior years of college and I was just so sad when I graduated because that had been my dream apt since even before I was a freshman as I had visited some friends there. I was also sad because most of my friends (including me) are intl and were going to go back to their countries. But girl, everything happens for a reason and new and exciting adventures are coming. One year later, I have gone through a rollercoaster of experiences that have made me grow as a person and I now live in a city, plus I got into grad school... and it turns out a couple of my friends got into grad school in the same city, so I will be seeing them! What I'm trying to say is that everyone is in their own path and you will be where you are supposed to be, and while change might be sad and stressful, in the end, everything will work out 🤗🌞💕
