Number 11, if you are retired US military with blue ID card, it may take a little longer and you may have to pay for some rooms, go space available to mainland Japan Korea, Okinawa, and Singapore and get a budget ticket to the Philippines, the money you save will help with starting up and credit card balance will be low.

I am 11 months away from moving over. I have been selling everything that is not screwed down. I have been making my VA appointments for tests and lab work to make sure everything is in top working order. I am still working on the paperwork side. I am renewing licenses and passport in 4 months to make sure nothing expires to soon. I am now searching for areas to look for apartments to rent. Do you have any ideas of good areas to rent?

Pretty Good, I would label differently, Passport and Passive income most important, I’m disabled and Drug Costs 1/8 of America, I am married Almost 5 year, Money, Money, Money, If you can manage you can be King, We have Condo, We have Castle in Jungle, We live like Royalty and we get alone with all surroundings, If you are not open to Asian culture do not come, You will not be happy, or even dead, Seen it happens many times, City’s are pretty safe, Lot of Security, Police Military and Tourists are Loved because most over spend and easy overcharge. Love your videos Ace but for me BGC is the perfect place to live in the Philippines. Has all the amenities of the US, high speed internet, 24/7 electricity, all the restaurants and bars you can imagine, high class and very safe area where you can walk at night with no fear of anything and is stunningly beautiful. Just my opinion.

I’m down with BGC, but all the arguments FOR IT are, ironically, the ones AGAINST IT. It’s basically pre-woke big city America in BGC. A bubble really. Again, not saying it’s not great. I’m sure it is. But no place is like AC Walking Street area. Pattaya is closest but even Pattaya is more modern and somewhat soulless. AC has a soul.

@@TrevorMelbourne-ef1in - I hear ya. It's all in what you're looking for. I'm not retired and am a businessman who needs fast and reliable internet to conduct business. I can't afford brown outs for even one minute plus I always eat at restaurants and love the incredible selection of restaurants in BGC. I have a GF so don't need to be out on walking street and am not the partying type anyway. I like luxury and modern conveniences and great restaurants that you don't have to worry about getting sick afterwards. That's the reason I love BGC but to each his own.

I can’t move there permanently because I can’t bear to leave my grandsons behind. They’re weekly visitors to my home and I’d miss them dearly. In fact, I brought them with me to the Philippines with me on my trip back this past summer. They fit right in with the locals, my son, their father, is half Filipino and their mother is Filipino. The oldest is fluent in Tagalog and Kapampangan.
