I use to live in stone creek ranch in Charlotte NC. I decided to sell my house in stone creek ranch and at 45 years old i retired to Medellin Colombia 3 years ago. How was tour trip to Colombia did you enjoy your visit. I love Medellin the weather is perfect

Hi there!! Julie here. I had to look up where Stone Creek Ranch is in Charlotte.. looks like it's in Ballentyne, maybe near what they call Waverly now? It's a nice area but the traffic is definitely getting worse by the day and we agree we would love to be able to do the same thing you did! We absolutely loved every minute of our time living in Colombia!! We vlogged every single day, if youre curious to go through our videos and see some of our travels. We were there for 2.5 months, primarily living in Barranquilla where my sister in law's family lives. But we also spent time in Tayrona, Cartegena, San Pelayo, and we went to Minca multiple times. But sadly there was just never time in those 2+ months to make it to Medellin. I've heard sooo many good things about Medellin and it's definitely on our bucket list!! The country was just so beautiful, the people were sooo nice even with our language barrier, and it was all such a refreshing change from the US. We are missing Colombia dearly and hope to come back sometime soon, it does feel like another home away from home!! 🇨🇴 💛💙❤️

Hi there Luis!! Oh man, I hadn't heard of chuzo desgranado so I had to google it. It looks soooo good!!!!!! Unfortunately we spent almost 3 months in Colombia and never got to try this! We'll have to try it next time we go!!! 💛💙❤️

Abra's is a changed little girl from the start going to NC! She's so happy to be sharing this adventure with you Michael and her Aunt and Uncle. (Well except for the chewing gum. LOL) And Really cool to see your Brother and sister in law Julie! I hope they agree to appear more often. 😉 Mari and Marshall will be great "tour guides", can already tell! Lots to see for someone who's never seen Columbia, but I'm taking it all in. Hope you caught up on your rest and the next day is even more fun and exciting! ¡Amo tus sonrisas! ¡Qué divertido verlos a todos tan felices! No I don't speak Spanish. 🙃 But gonna have to learn now huh?

¡Hola Mustang! Yep Abra is so happy to go on new adventures, even when it stresses her out. She's such a "people" dog and just wants to be around her favorites. She was SOOOOO happy to see Marshall & Mari!! She's usually a little nervous around men besides Michael, but she absolutely adores both my brother and my uncle. Probably 2 of her favorite people in the world haha. Marshall & Mari were on our channel last summer but I think that's before you found us! We all went on a trip to Greece together. I almost forgot to introduce them this time! They both have told me they don't mind me filming them anytime, but I try not to put them on the spot to "perform" unless they just want to. I really don't want to bug them by filming all the time! Marshall is probably the funniest person I know, I wish I were able to catch more of his jokes on camera, but they usually happen before I'm ready! Michael & I don't know any Spanish either! I took 3 years of Spanish classes in high school and college and made straight A's, but I remember absolutely none of it now! I do appreciate being immersed in the culture and am trying very hard to learn as fast as I can!

In my spare time, I go “back in time” and watch some of your older videos. I haven’t seen the Greece videos yet. Will have to look them up soon. I rarely make comments on the older ones because I know you’ll respond and we’ll start another thread we have to keep up with. That and who knows if the comment will be deleted anyway. 😂 My pilot brother is the same as your brother it sounds like. He’s very funny and always making us laugh or smile. I’ve always thought he’d be a great channel on here. I understand what you’re saying and hope to see M&M off and on. It’s fun to see who you two are interacting with in your adventures. I know people don’t think animals or dogs especially can smile, but I’m pretty sure they can and do. Their body language means a lot, and we can all see that, but I’ve can see it in their eyes and ears. The difference in the way they act too. When you’re leaving and they are staying home, versus when you come home. Once Abra realized she was going with you, her mood, attitude, and smiles came out. That was so awesome to see. Then when she was with Mari, Marshall, Mom and Dad? So was so happy!! Just love seeing that! Back when I was in school, always thought at some point I’d take trips to France to study the architecture there. (Some amazing buildings there!) That language difference though… so I studied French. Did okay, but just never could grasp it. LOL. Maybe some of us just aren’t meant to know multiple languages. 🤓 Thank goodness for Google Translate! 😉

HAHA I'm laughing about you checking out our old videos. No tellings what kind of content we put out way back then. I don't consider myself good at editing now a days, but back then I'm sure things were ATROCIOUS! I was really proud of the Ireland and Greece travel vlogs when we made those. That was the first time I had the time to make videos when I wasn't also working a job, so I had more time to try to learn what I was doing. Abra absolutely adores Mari & Marshall! It's been a real challenge to keep her from sleeping in their bed at night, even though they wouldn't mind. She hasn't had a potty accident since she was 7 months old, but that last one she had was because she was so excited to see M&M, she just forgot her training HAHAHA. They travel almost full time, so her opportunities to see them are few and far between, but she never forgets them!

Of course you can see the difference in your editing skills, but I’m not a critic of that at all. I mean we’re not pros at this are we? LOL. I really have fun doing it, I’m a lot like you though, more critical of my “skills” than anyone else is. Plus I just really enjoy watching what you do vlog about. Abs looks so happy in these videos. You can really tell how she feels around M&M. It’s always fun to see how dogs react to people they know, but don’t get to see very often. Our dogs do that with my sister in law when she house sits for us. She’ll get to meet Sticky this year. But he loves everyone, so that will be easy.

Pensé que estabas preguntando sobre qué deportista famoso vive dentro de NUESTRA casa, no dentro de ESA casa! 😂😂😂😂😂 HAHAHA, perdón por la confusión, error de traducción por mi parte. En realidad no tengo idea de quién vive en esa casa. Mari me dijo que es alguien famoso en los deportes, pero no tengo idea si es un atleta, un entrenador, un locutor... ?
