Nice idea... If I understood correctly you are using momentary push button in always pressed state to detect sitting posture. A stretch conductive cloth whose resistance changes under load, or a flex sensor (similar concept) may be better options than a momentary button which is less likely designed to be constantly pressed.

Hi, I did use velostat in my prototype but the resistance varies too much to be used for just as a switch.
