MOVED ON BY THE POLICE IN TURKEY

As we explore deeper in to Turkey we continue our struggle to find amazing campsites. We finally think we’ve found something special, but for the first time ever we are “moved on”.
We also have some lovely experiences, including a visit to the fabulous ancient city of Side, and also the Turtle Sanctuary supported by Chris and Marianne from ‪@TREADtheglobe‬.

Once again a great Vlog one again, great to hear Ed is on the mend, we wish him well, we had seen your Ed update on FB. We stayed in a beach hut in Mexico to see the turtles hatching first thing in the morning, we got up at 4am only to find most of the turtle that morning had already gone to the sea, but we saw some Mexican people with buckets, they handed us a bucket each and explained that they collect all the wafe and stray baby turtles, it was still very dark and they were being lured towards the road because of the street lights, we collected loads and repatriated them to the sea shore and was such a lovely life experience along with an absolutely amazing sun rise on the beach. Just hope that you were able to experience something similar. Again, we saw this report a few weeks ago on FB, but just love watching your travels and experiences, enjoy the rest of your adventures in Turkey...😄 All the best Chris & Debs

Sorry to hear things aren't working out as you hoped in Turkey but it looks like, as a family, you are still having fun which is good to see. I love hearing about your gadgets and wondered if you had your water filter fitted (you mentioned it earlier this year) and whether it has been a benefit on this trip and saved you money on bottled water without impacting water pressure. We are thinking about having one fitted and your thoughts would be very much appreciated.

Don't know if anybody has mentioned this, as it's quite a weird thing to comment... But diesel is down to 134.9ppl here (at Costco Derby) petrol is 130.9ppl. Thought I'd mention it as I think it was a lot higher when you left, and passed through Europe, so may be worth keeping in mind for comparisons, incase prices are falling in general elsewhere. Hope Eddie feels better soon.

Sorry to hear that, but there is a reason for their action. You know a lot of wildfires occur in Mediterranean region every year. So the government occasionally bans some areas to prevent any possible wildfire caused by people. This has became a serious problem for e few years and these fires can be extremely hard to put out. Enjoy your trip. 😉👍
