No. Diffusion is possible in solids,liquids,gases as well. Example-- IN SOLIDS The chalk powder spreads on black board suface and settle down, the air dust spreads and settle on our household objects or on any objects, spreading of powder on ourself body etc all are examples of solid-solid diffusion. IN LIQUIDS Placing food coloring in a liquid will diffuse the color. IN GASES Cigarette smoke diffuses into the air. I hope now its clear. If any doubt you can ask:)
