I felt this , right before I left for rehab 3 years ago I came across movements and their songs just lit a fire in my soul that pushed me through so many uncomfortable yet necessary moments towards finding myself again. 10 years of drug abuse took away so much but getting clean and really pushing for a better life is such a beautiful thing day in and day out. I'm grateful for that path God has carried me through. With good music to heal the wounds life couldn't be any better.

This song is probably the most accurate depiction of clinical depression I’ve heard. The line “drown myself in the undertow, of all my imbalanced chemicals” hits the nail on the head for how it feels to deal with it everyday. It’s not just a switch that you can just flip on and off, it’s a cycle.
