Brilliant. A decade of physios trying to explain to me how to do shoulder exercises without success. 10min with you and I have it sorted.

@billwaterson9492 the explanation and demonstration of how the scapular moves and what moves it means I can visualise what I am meant to do and why I am in pain, where I am in pain.

@@carold7713 Well done mate. I've been through the mill with therapists but prior to watching this I've managed to alleviate my shoulder pain somewhat. I'm using a cable machine to do pec major and minor, biceps curls (behind/to the side) mostly in a stretched and loaded position doing full ROM and partial/stretched reps. Good luck.

Thank You Sam. I thought that upward and lateral rotation are two different movements, same with downward and medial rotation but now thanks to you it’s all more clear to me. Thank you and have a nice day Sir.❤️

Anterior tilting is actually very important in a bad way. Anterior tilting is the position of the scapula involved in forward head posture and rounded shoulders. It is a real problem for those of you looking at your cell phone right now.

That was a great explanation, thanks! So at what degree does the arm have to be during lateral/upward rotation before engaging the scapula, like 80 degrees?
