RE: vampire that explodes for no reason at start of film. I worked on that visual effects sequence, I remember the moment we realized there was a guy in the shot that doesn’t get killed. Which I can’t believe nobody had caught onto until that moment, and we had to make the call to kill him off too. It’s pretty funny knowing it’s there and there’s a guy that just randomly explodes into fire for no reason haha..

when snipes is whipping the fondue fork around he pulls it out of the first guy, then does a full 360 spin, then flings it to his right into the other guy. so he flicks it in the direction of the guy on the floor, just way above him. Could have just changed the direction on it so that it goes down towards the ground as he spins around and have it take the guys head off as he turns around and looks up at blade....

Someone I worked with years back told me a story about Wesley Snipes on this movie. He had a friend who worked on the VFX and apparently Wesley Snipes refused to trim his ear hair for some reason, so there were shots where you could see his ear hair sticking out. This guy's job was to digitally erase the ear hair from every frame that it showed up in.
