I decided to check the rest of the video after Emerald Hill Zone to make sure I wasn't simply watching a Sonic 2 playthrough with Eggman's sprite changed, unfortunately I was right, you could have replace the sprite with anything other than movie Eggman to the exact same effect, not creative.
