This series really needs to be seen from the very beginning. For me it is one beautiful series , all of it. Hard to watch in places, but at the every end I realised its the story of an elderly man getting ready to go to jail. Thinking back to what he and all 4 brothers lost. Its very sad at the end. In the end all his thoughts are of when she was a young girl, wearing the same clothes as when he slapped her and she left him to become a doctor for years. There is alot.of story in-between, all very gentle. And she does leave and divorces him, but he writes alot to her, as he sees her when they are young in Mongolia. I think it's called.... MY BEAUTIFUL LIFE IN BEIJING.... I LOVED ALL OF IT. Enjoy
