For people who have not notices, this tv series is made in China, the mainland, these soldiers are NRA. This is because despite the civil wars that happen after WW2, the CPC still regard the KMT and their efforts as both important for China development and resistance against colonial powers. This shouldn't be surprise if know Sun Yet Set the founder of the KMT vision for a Chinese Republic including both a worker army and a national army, following layout of the Social Democratic party (after WW2, they was knows as Communist) under Engels. What happen to the KMT, is the business class and their representative in the army, Chiang Kai Shek purges the worker sides of the KMT, leading to a civil wars. However after WW2, many of the NRA left the NRa when Chiang Kai Shek retaken the KMT party and begin to purges workers unions and CPC branch again, along with the 800 thousand who surrenders to Japan in 1937, warlords in Manchuria, including the Manchukuo army, which made up the new KMT, fighting against the CPC with Soviet support, where many formers soldiers of the NRA quits the NRA, either not joining in the civil wars, or join the CPC since at that point, it is blatantly obvious that the KMT had fully represent only the interest of national and foreign Bourgeoise, the business class and the wealthiest oligarch of China and abroad.
