feels like a graveyard here. anyways, funny to see all these comments concerning the director. i came for the actress, a woman named Guðrún Gísladóttir, who also has a very captivating performance in a Of Monsters and Men lyric video, called ‘Black Water.’ this film looks very intriguing, and maybe some day i’ll happen upon it and watch. until then, i’ll be thinking of her instead.

the most Chehovian piece by Tarkovskij, it's surprising that he needed to go abroad to make it; on the other hand it was the year of Tschernobyl i prefer "Solaris"

I love solaris. But why must the other tarkovsky films leave you in such a terrible state of depression? I don't enjoy that. Sorry. Defenitely one for the bookshelf though.
