Hi all! Just in case you missed my explanation in the description box> I had to censor scenes that KZbin deems as a violation to their rules. KZbin sent me a personal warning about using Stand By Me and how a lot of it violates their community guidelines. There are a TON of rules about children in adult situations or in danger! I tried my best to blur out those scenes. I know a lot of rules on KZbin don't make sense, but I have to follow what they tell me otherwise I will get a strike and the video will be taken down again. Stephen King's book Different Seasons is the book the novella The Body is in. There are also 2 other stories from that book that have been adapted into movies. Apt Pupil is one. The story is really good & the movie of the same name is good & underrated. The other is Rita Hayworth & The Shawshank Redemption. Amazing story & movie. Thats one yall should check out

Stand By Me is one of my all time favorites. Saddest is the ending, where Chris (River Phoenix) fades away as Gordy (Wil Wheaton) describes his death. Knowing the actor, River Phoenix, truly did die at such a young age always gets me. He had so much potential ❤

@Nichole-1989 He was definitely a cute kid. I was very young when the film first came out, but my sister was older and had a crush on him as well. Also, I feel so dumb. I had to Google Joaquin Phoenix(I'm bad with knowing all the celebrities names, but I know their faces), and I just realized he was in Gladiator, another favorite of mine

Not a single adult or older boy in the movie is a sympathetic character. Almost to a man, they are bullies or unpleasant at the very least. The older boys are nasty characters as well. Even those in Gordy's story.

It is frustrating! Most likely because KZbin didn't personally review their videos like they did mine. It was so time consuming to censor out certain scenes. 😔

Most reaction channels almost certainly censor certain things in their videos. Just some are more subtle about it than others.
