I don’t think any series stressed me as much as this did this year. They were really on to something in the first part, but it just went downhill in the second part. I'm glad I waited for the second part to be released before watching. It helped contain my anger. I can't imagine having to anticipate what the second part was. But all the same, I have just spent my morning binge-watching your videos and I just want to say that you’re so good at what you do. From the video quality to the audio quality, I could watch and listen to you for half a day (my attention span is low). 😩 Movies/series, for me, are purely entertainment, so it tires me out when people are so critical of them, even more so Nollywood. Constructive criticism is good, but Nigerians still struggle with the “constructive” part, so when I come across such “criticism”, it is met with eye rolls. More often than not, it's not far-fetched an attempt to rubbish the effort that has been put into the making of that body of work. But watching you has made me see things a lot differently. It has to be a “you” thing because it's quite clear that you know your onions and aren't just speaking based on emotions and this is so refreshing to see, especially from someone in the industry. I doubt any “serious-minded” person who watches this will see this as a direct attack. You're very keen on that sandwich method, so thank you and well done. I've learned and will continue to learn a lot from this channel. Especially as an upcoming writer. I’ve realized how many details I miss when watching films. I resolve to watch it twice lol. The first time for my viewing pleasure and the second for analysis. We all have aspirations for the growth of Nollywood. I believe that we're on the right path and will get “there” one day. We need more people like you in the industry. Well done again.

Oh my. What an enervating comment to wake up to. I don’t even know what to say. Thank you! You have no idea how much this comment means to me. In edit, i agonize so much and often i’d cut a lot of things out just cuz of my tone or expression when i said them. I never want to be disrespectful. I know that, yes, we have a real problems with the nuance of film criticism but hopefully the audience, who is my target really, not filmmakers, would come to understand that it’s never a tear down. Permission to use/highlight your comment as promo or something 😅. I appreciate you.

I was waiting for all the parts to be completed before watching but after this review, I would rather use my data for something else. I have a right to an incredible viewing experience, thank you for ensuring I don't settle for less. Awesome review as always 😎

Whew. Thank you. And yeah, it was painful to say that cuz I always recommend, even if the film is not very good.

It is weird how the rape was excused 20 years ago, and all the men had to do was lose a finger and skip town. When the deaths start again 20 years later somehow the Oba is never made aware of the deaths. Also, there are a lot of loopholes that show that the producers didn't bother to do any research on the Catholic church or boarding schools in Nigeria. Mother Superior's position only exists in an abbey, not a school.

You said it all. Simple research and care.
