Fun Fact: Sonics first design was actually inspired by Mickeys design

U mean feels the rabbit (he was named that after the community) I can see that, to me looks more like Oswald since he's a rabbit, but that's actually his second design, fun fact while sega were trying to compete with Nintendo, now this might sound crazy, but someone drew eggman and he was supposed to be the protagonist, they scrapped it as he was too much like mario (human and uh...........FAT) so they drew feels, bu he was scrapped, but they kept the concept but made him a hedgehog instead of a rabbit, but they reincarnated him into sonic superstars (along with some golden loop de loops from an unused sonic 1 map) and he (and the loops) are by the same creator who came back to making sonic (cuz they still worked at sega just not with sonic) specifically to make feels (and the loops) exactly as he (and the loops) would've been in sonic 1
