I'm doing an analysis of this film right now and I think the theme is just so befitting the film. It creates this threatening atmosphere that lasts throughout the whole movie. It's calm, but somehow threatening - it suggests an underlying threat. It suggests that something bad is going to happen to one of the main "heros" and when the catastrophy occurs it reminds us that whatever we do we can't erase our past. Things we once said or did will always be there to haunt us and our loved ones.

It's almost amazing, how this movie criticized racism without taking sides. It remained neutral til the very end. Not that there was any need for it to take sides :)
@Darth_Nycta_139 жыл бұрын
Gab98Spyro Exactly there is no need to take sides it was saying that both sides are just as bad and they need to let go of their hat to truly have peace.

Beautiful and strong movie,something people should watch and learn something from it. Great acting,great story..sad,very sad movie with the point and message for us all. Do not be prejudice and racial,do not treat people by their colour and nation or religion...we are all the same!!!!!

In times of darkness one can find light in all brothers be them white, black, brown, yellow. Do not let fear swell and take you under. Let fear drive you to new heights, to new lands, to new inventions and new understandings. For we are all in this fight together. We have but one thing to fear and that is death. We may not be able to stop greed as that is basic nature, but we can stop hatred. As even the smallest forgiveness is still forgiveness.

waterboyus As Danny Vinyard says hate is baggage, you need to let go of it.

Ritchie V getting angry is fine especially if it legitimate or if not you apologize.But hate especially hate for no reasons is just ugly.

Ritchie V Also in my college we did an exam about this well this was one of the films we had to watch then have questions asked relating to it. This one was Spectatorship and that is essentially how did this film make YOU feel?

Adolf Hitler read American History X, the Scottish farmboy's guide to John Tyler, the tenth Presidency, "His Accidency". The police and gender politics, devised by President Tyler, for the hospices. Hitler, in his early days, was nicknamed, "Das Amerikaner", by his inner political circle; his theory of the master race, relied on revealing itself, through Irish cavalry propaganda - printed cartoons for Irish slum dwellers to pick up rifles and kill Natives for "WASPs", White Anglo-Saxon Protestants; Puritans that had already bred "Injun", the ceremonial term for police procedure. The police professional espionage of Luther, the police and print manuals, would form the backbone of the common worker's ethos, to kill their own blood, until the remaining survivors, would be Aryan, forever. Aryan, meaning Persian, Hershel's idea of a Jewish state. Falsely attributed to Zionism, Coptic slave labor, a tragedy lost on Americans.
