I don’t usually complain about this kind of thing, but I really wish you guys wouldn’t use the premier format. If you don’t click on it as soon as it starts, then you have to basically wait til it’s over or you risk clicking in the middle of a match. Today, the thumbnail was a live feed which spoiled the score and ending of the match without my even clicking it. Knowing exactly how a game ends and what the score is pretty much takes all the fun out of a match.

Same thing almost happened to me, vid started playing and I caught a glimpse of a score before quickly turning away and coming back in an hour. Glad it wasn't ruined and that I didn't see exact scores but my brain registered one team was way ahead, so I had the expectation of a blow out, but not the certainty At least the match was odd. I'm glad I watched because I've never seen anything like the last two matches.

Inky and the Brain had 11. There were 3 questions left. All they needed to do was reduce that question to 1 point and no answer needed to be given. "Multiple choice" . . . "AND YOUR WINNER!!"

Well... Uhm.... The last two matches have been something else lol. I'm thinking they were directed by Rion Johnson. He wanted to subvert our expectations. Next round is looking hot tho. Kind of a bumpy start but I think there might some really tight matches before it's all said and done. The top tier teams may be stronger now than they've ever been.

Nope They have to lead by 11 pts at the end of the round to officially get the KO. Let's say WTB hits the first one and whiff on everything else, score would be 25-11. (them whiffing all 5 questions would be kind of a miracle...but oh well) I&TB would have to get at least 4 points in steals to get the score to 25-15 and then go to the 3rd round.

Wow! Yet another absolutely domination in the first round. As most probably are i'm very strongly 2/2 in my bracket so far. Huge mistake on Inky and The Brain's part on respinning New Releases, i think anybody in the space that covers film should stick with new releases when it comes by. Seems like a short cited decision on Devon's part to respin in the pursuit of Will Smith. That was a death blow for them in this match. After what Rachel did against Rocha in the singles tournament, i think it's definitely time for her to upgrade to a partner who's more on her level. Was glad to see that the storyline is going in that direction. What's very interesting here is that now we have the draft in the mix! Normally at this point i'd expect Rachel to find a new partner and have that revealed in a cutscene at some point, but with the draft things look to be a little different. We should see Rachel to get picked relatively high and separated from Devon, should be interesting to see who her new manager will choose for a partner! Who's The Boss is looking really impressive. I think in round 2 we're going to see a bit of a juggernaut battle, regardless of whether it's Crimson Fury or Loose Cannons (my bracket says Crimson Fury 🙃). Whoever it is will need their A game for sure though. Also, does anyone else think Reilly is showing a few Heel like tendencies in this one? Calling Stacy a streaky player and whatnot, might it be time to put Reilly on #HeelWatch? It would work well because Bateman is a natural heel as well. Awesome opening cut scene btw.

The game should've ended when WTB hit 25 points, there was no mathematical chance I&B could've won at that point, the last question was irrelevant, Reilly even made a comment about the KO during the last round

There was a chance. However, at the last question, while it was still technically possible for I&B to steal enough points to avoid KO, all WTB had to do at that point was go to multiple choice. At that instant, it would become mathematically impossible for I&B to catch up.

Yeah, Who's the Boss won last year's tournament but what does it matter when they lost to The Shirewolves then got destroyed by The Odd Couple (who ended up winning the belts) right after that lol. Annoying match cause both teams were acting overdramatic and obnoxious, blech. I wasn't surprised the other team blew it when WTB got Will Smith, there was another match where the team or Devon (can't remember which) got him and he missed most of the questions. He's just an awful competitor so I don't get why they and he acts like that is his best category. He even sucks at that. Just like The Scream Queens, they cart Inky and the Brain out to lose against the team they want to win so just like with Monday's match, this was an obvious result. Just a more obnoxious match. It's about time Rachel realizes she is carrying Devon's annoying ass. I think she could possibly do better in teams if she didn't have to keep carrying him. She almost beat Rocha, she can do and deserves so much better. Get a better damn teammate! lol. Otherwise, get used to always losing. She has ALWAYS had to carry him SMH.

Would have been more sporting to see Only Stupid Answers play Inky and the Brain and Who's the Boss play The Odd Couple, but the match ups are random so some early pubstomping is par for the coarse. It helps weed out those that don't have a real chance to win so inevitably the final those in the final match deserve to be there and put on a good show.

John Long no way! It’s only a halt because it was the worst possible spin for IatB. It would still feel that way for any team that spins their worst category, like Harris Bros spinning Scores and Soundtracks last year, or Double Toasted with Westerns.
