Its a double-barrel shotgun. Its a very old style because it has the external hammers, which have to be cocked (pulled back) to fire the gun. They weren't cocked though so pulling the trigger would have done nothing

What the actual fuck? This is what everyone is saying is the best line ever, it's worse than most lines in films and I watch a shit load of films. All of you saying this is the best line ever in any movie, just take a look and the true greatest and you will see why they are the greatest, 1. People use them as jokes and know them 2. The people who said them become even more famous 3. The films become recognised as a classic and a great film. This is honestly at best an average film.
