She is acting almost naive as she was acting at the beginning of the first movie. at the end of the first, it showed El graduating and how she had grown up, and started being more practical. This is why sequels have such a bad rep

FACTSSSS. Her story ended on the first one because her character changed and developed. If they wanted a sequel they had to work that. It doesn't mean no pink or shiny things but a more mature and held person cause she's not demented.

At the end of the things we see her at her graduation, so it's natural that we don't see her wearing pink. I personally thinks Elle never gave up her wardrobe and her whimsical personality, as it is the entire point of the first movie. It wasn't about her "growing up", it was about her achieving her goals despite being targeted by harmful stereotypes.

You know as much as The legally blonde movies are not my favorite movies mainly because The movies themselves get labeled as chick flicks. However Luke Wilson is the main reason why I watched the first movie and will probably rewatch the second movie just because of him. And Emmitt will forever always be a bro and he will be always he the man. Especially because in those movies he treated his woman like a queen and was very supportive to her no matter how over the top she was.

It doesn’t take away her character growth. She uses the same smarts she used in the first one, and she was confident from the beginning in this one. Yeah she had a moment when she was fired, understandably, but she bounced back when she found passion for something. Her motive wasn’t to get a guy back, it was because she wanted to do something she really cared about. Plus she did it her own way. It took her awhile to get there in the first one. Also, I don’t think it’s fair to say a movie s trash before you even see it.
