The Spider-Demon is easily the most memorable thing from the episode because she had a pretty cool look. It's nice when the show actually puts effort into the demon design instead of just getting a human-looking dude in black which is like 90% of the time.

I guess this is the most appropriate place for it but, Shannon Doriety died today. And it is hitting me much harder than I expected. My mom had breast cancer too and she is still receiving surgeries for it, but it has gone into remission thankfully. I saw her on tv, and she was so sick. I didn't want to pity her, but she was also a reminder of what could have happened to my mom. I don't think I would have cared as much if it weren't for your silly videos. You have been talking about the show for 10 years now, I think. Maybe more. I did watch some Charmed with my mom growing up, but the series became routine because of your content. So, when you talked about how Prue was the best, she was a person but she's not anymore. She's a memory for real now and I don't know why it makes me so sad. I don't know why I felt like sharing this. Rest in peace Shannon.

The Crazy Abby Girl who stalked Prue was a bartender at P3, she appeared in only 1 episode before that one. Even though Paige is my favorite character normally, I found this episode done her character dirty, its especially bad on her part for not wanting to tell Leo about his unborn, considering part of her ENTIRE backstory was about how she was given up for adoption and felt guilt ridden ever since her adoptive parents died. She also has a degree in Social Work!

Drew Fuller said, at a convention this year, he was written in to be a potential love interest for Paige, but then they saw he and Holly were great together and used her pregnancy to make him her son. I love how he and Holly keep blowing up Brad Kern's lies.

That confirms it! It was a last-minute change like Allison theorized in the original videos! Only instead of being Phoebe and Cole's son from the future, he was an edgy dark love interest! That explains why he seemed so sinister and had some connections to other magical beings when he was introduced. That's why his vague motivations disappeared after the reveal was written in. He was probably originally working to destroy the Charmed Ones because reasons and his original story would have had him fall I love with Paige and then change his mind. It honestly makes too much sense now!

This episode was past the point where even I couldn't watch the show anymore, and it's kind of insane how I can here these ridiculous things and just go "Yeah, that fits with what they were doing.". I wish I could say "The heroes never save anyone." is limited to Charmed. Why and how are so many people convinced that having the characters actually accomplish something will diminish the experience?

The pedant in me would like to annoyingly point out that they are spelt how they sound *in their own language* it just doesn't make sense if you're approaching the pronunciation from the English alphabet. If you learn the Irish Gaelic, Scottish Gaelic or Welsh alphabets, they are actually phonetically spelt and are much easier to use than English is.

The whole time travel plot for Chris is so convoluted because we don't really know what Chris' history is up to Wyatt turning evil. However, with what they pull in this seasons finale, the whole season, and Chris showing up at the end of the previous season, is a time loop. This could've been a good plot point if they actually gave a shit and really tried writing better

Fetus Chris took the anedote from the umbilical cord and in his magical ways, stored the properties of the potion away somewhere in his magicalness to be used in this very moment when he grew up into Big Chris. Like I agree with you on Chris, this show could have been so much better, and the fix that I applied was trying to merge all the Chris(s) together. Because it was time-travel, an argument could be made that he was changing himself as well as the time stream, especially when he disappeared in the one episode. But, that is giving more thought to season 6 than the writers did.

When you guys mention Phoebe's premonitions the show drastically changes it from the first 5 seasons to the last 3. In the first 5 seasons it was meant to be warning signs that something was going to happen and the girls HAD to try to prevent or change what was shown to happen, which is how the power is normally portrayed outside of Precognition. This also adds into seeing future events and being able to project herself into her visions, but once she gets that vision of herself being pregnant, they change from actual visions to magic 8 ball that tell Phoebe exactly what she needs or wants. Hell in Season 8, she only ends up with 3 premonitions and all of them have to do with HER, it felt as if once she got selfish her power became a reflection of that. Like her very last premotion was her projecting herself into a vision with her future self in that stupid Alanis Morissette Hair just to self-reassure herself about having kids and a baby daddy. What a waste of a power! It also doesn't make any sense with how premonition is supposed to be used, how does a vision power go from future predicting and seeing perceived events to just being an image of your own desire? That's like if Cordelia Chase went from having visions that made her feel the pain of whatever she saw to having visions of being the Queen Bee of LA

it's stupid how they brush off the spider demon attacking chris. piper's been turned into a wendigo and a fury. paige was turned into a vampire. phoebe was turned into a banshee. phoebe literally was turned into a genie a few weeks before this one. but oh it's fine. we don't need to call leo to at least heal that wound. or ask about it. just walk it off.

Phoebe’s Powers were done so dirty and paid dust. Premonition, Levitation, and Empathy are good powers but Brad, Alyssa, and The Writers did her powers and the character dirty. First they said she lost her powers because of budget But in a season 8 interview Brad and Alyssa said the reason she lost her powers was to show that her ultimate power was “LOVE” (foolishness) So which one is it?!?! Premonition - Filmed clips with a tint over them Levitation - Alyssa in a harness on wires Empathy - A wind chime sound effect Filmed clips are not hard, you shoot it twice. The Sisters were always getting thrown around on wires each episode and a simple sound effect. How do you fail that so horribly???

the funny thing this season paige started out doing temp jobs to have a life outsice of magic.. but her arc this season was every temp job is related to magic. demon or evil magical creatures to vanquish. innocents to save. she stops a witch war in one episode. it's funny how they take phoebe's powers in the trial episode. but didn't care that two witch families were killing each other. and anyone who tried to help got caught in the crossfire. why didn't tribunal but those families on trial and strip their powers?

It's even worse that they made Paige "let's not tell Leo about his unborn child" since we know she has such a complicated past with parental figures because she was given up for adoption and for a very long time felt responsible for killing her adoptive parents! You'd figure she'd want parents to be in the know and involved whenever they can. This episode takes place after the whole "no one celebrated my birth" plotline during the dream episode too -- I guess she REALLY got over that bit, quick.

I started watching Charmed when it first aired. I didn't catch all the episodes due to my work schedule. When it started airing on the TNT network I watched every episode. That's when I started to notice all the inconsistent writing in the show. It drove me nuts but I kept watching. I became aware of just how awful the Charmed ones are. Just horrible people. Prue wasn't so bad but the rest are horrible. Selfish, self-centered and just plain mean. Phoebe and her crappy advice column, Piper was just a flat out mega-bitch and Paige was so wishy washy on being a witch/white lighter I wanted to slap her. It had promise when it started but over eight seasons it got bad. Real bad. I was hoping that in the final episode they would be burned at the stake for being not just for being witches but also for being awful people. THAT would have been a very good final episode. "Charmed. They get burned at the stake. Tune in and watch". Any way thank you for posting these videos. I laugh my ass off every time.❤❤❤❤❤❤

When a new Charmed Rewind appears, I always watch the episode first, if I haven't seen it already. While I was watching it, I decided that it was my new nominee for the dumbest Charmed episode ever. I realize this is a controversial choice. But the whole thing with the stereotypical cackling witch stirring a cauldron, and then she's blown up by remote control. That got me.

What i find stupid about this episode is the Spider Demon specifically says she feeds on magic, not life force. So it makes no sense that she kills her prey as it has been proven many times that losing their powers is not fatal. So, .. ... why did the wizard die? Because stakes.

You guys should watch Grimm someday. It deals with a lot of the same things as Charmed, namely characters trying to live a life while dealing with magical stuff, but they are so much better about it - Nick doesn't bitch and moan every time that he has to save innocents from the latest Wesen issue. The so-called "monsters of the week" are also not just straight up bad guys who can be killed without consequences, many of them turn over a new leaf and become allies, others are powerful political figures who are untouchable to our heroes, and we see that not every member of a Wesen race is evil, as shown especially with supporting character Monroe who is a Blutbad (basically the classic Universal Wolf-Man) who becomes on of Nick's best friends and ally.
